Sahar Idwan is an Assistant Prof. in the Computer Science Department at Faculty of Prince Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II for Information Technology at Hashemite University. She received her Ph.D. in computer science from Colorado school of mines, USA, 2005 and joined computer science faculty at Hashemite University immediately. She has twelve publications resulting from her research in computer science. In particular, her research interest includes applied algorithms, moving objects, mobile computing, graph theory, mobile applications, and application of computing as a scientific paradigms; her work appeared in publications such as International Journal of Foundations of Computer Science, proceeding of Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing , International Journal of mobile Communications, International Journal of Interactive Mobile Technologies, International Journal of computational Cognitive, , Journal of Applied Sciences, and European Journal of Scientific Research. She is currently on the technical committee of International Arab Journal of e-Technology and International Journal of Computer Engineering Research. She has served as a chairwomen or on the membership of number of committees in the college and university
